You can now test drive any Hyundai car and get a chance to win tickets for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022.Hyundai has launched a test-drive campaign under their Goal of the Century initiative where customers stand a chance to watch the FIFA World Cup 2022 Live in Qatar. To participate and benefit from the offer, customers can simply test-drive any Hyundai cars from any showrooms all over Nepal starting from 19th July 2022. Any person with a valid driving license from all over Nepal can participate in the campaign.

Two lucky winners will be decided through a lucky draw. Each of the winners will win an all-expense paid trip to Qatar (along with a person of their choice) and watch the upcoming FIFA World Cup live.

The exciting campaign is being done under the Hyundai Hospitality program to generate excitement and interest in the cause of sustainability. Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., the sole distributor of Hyundai Cars in Nepal, believes this campaign will help unite football fans and other people in Nepal to adopt more eco-friendly and carbon-neutral behavior for a sustainable future for the planet.

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be played from 21 November to 18 December in Qatar. It will be the 22nd edition of the competition, and the first played in the Arab world.

Hyundai's partnership with FIFA

For the past 23 years, Hyundai has been an official automotive partner of FIFA and a top-tier partner.  Hyundai began its alliance with FIFA in 1999, when it signed an agreement to sponsor 13 FIFA competitions including the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan. Hyundai continued to serve as the official automotive supplier in 2002, 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup. In 2010, Hyundai signed a long-term agreement to continue the partnership until 2022.

This year, as a partner to make a sustainable FIFA World Cup, 50% of the passenger cars and a proportion of the commercial vehicles that Hyundai will provide will be eco-friendly models, such as the Ioniq 5 and Santa Fe Hybrid and Elec CityIn total, Hyundai will be providing 592 official vehicles at this year’s FIFA World Cup. This number will include 422 passenger vehicles and 170 commercial vehicles to transport participating member associations, VIPs and event officials during the FIFA World Cup.
